Hello Humidity

We made it to Oregon!

That friend up there was about 7 inches in diameter.
Which is like the size of 6-inch Subway sandwich with some extensive lettuce on the sides.
I can't say for sure, but I think he probably would taste about the same, too.

Beach time babes:

I'm writing this post up as I chill by myself back at the rented house. We're literally across the street from the beach, so I can hear the soothing sounds of whales beaching and waves crashing on the shore. Some of the family is hiking while others are playing on the beach. Well, that's the idea anyway. I haven't heard the screams of children stepping on the jellyfish tentacles, so I assume they're probably okay.

I'm going to rock this motherhood thing, guys.

On a reflective note, I'm surprised at how unwound I feel after just a couple days of being here. It feels like going to Girls' Camp all over again. I feel spiritually fluffed up, both in a religious and in-touch-with-myself sort of way. My hair could definitely act as a physical demonstration of the fluffiness. Right now I feel like I'm on the brink of understanding some great wisdom from this trip, but I keep being distracted by the awesome juice boxes and string cheeses that Taylor's parents brought along.

It's going to be hard going back to being an adult again. :)
